Samantha Chan, a Baltimore County native, graduated from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law with a concentration in Alternative Dispute Resolution and is a certified court-appointed mediator. She is admitted to the Maryland Bar and holds a B.A. in English and Economics from Franklin & Marshall College and a M.A. from Georgetown University in English.
Throughout law school, Samantha worked for various small and mid-sized firms gaining hands on litigation support experience in asbestos, civil, employment, and family law matters. Upon graduation, Samantha continued working as a paralegal at a mid-size firm and assisted with an intense months-long complex civil jury trial in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. She brings her years of complex civil, and family law experience to the firm’s family and criminal law departments.
Samantha is as committed to her community as she is to her clients. She strongly believes that giving back to the community and devoting time to continuing education help her to better understand and assist her clients. Samantha is proficient in Cantonese and is active in the local and state Bar Associations and in her community.
